Cookie Policy
Reputal Solutions. Last updated 9 September 2026.
This page explains what we store on your device when you use reputalsolutions.com, why we store it, and how to change your mind. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Related technologies, such as localStorage, do the same job in a slightly different way. Dutch law (article 11.7a of the Telecommunicatiewet, which implements the ePrivacy Directive) treats all of these the same, so everything on this page applies to any information stored on or read from your device, not only to cookies strictly speaking.
Some of that storage is needed for a site to work at all. The rest needs your permission first.
2. Strictly necessary, always on
These are used only to deliver the service you asked for. They cannot be switched off, and under article 11.7a they are exempt from the consent requirement. None of them are used to profile you or to track you across other websites.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| reputal_session | Reputal Solutions | Keeps you signed in after you log in. Encrypted and signed, and limited to same-site requests. Only set once you have an account and log in. | Session |
| Stripe checkout cookies | Stripe | Set by Stripe on their own checkout pages when you start a subscription, to process the payment and to prevent fraud. Necessary for a transaction you have actively started. | Set by Stripe |
| reputal.cookie-consent.v1 | Reputal Solutions | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected, so we do not ask again on every visit. Stored in localStorage, which means it stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers. | Until you clear it |
3. Non-essential cookies
We do not currently use any. There is no analytics, no advertising or marketing pixel, no session recording, and no embedded third-party tracker anywhere on this site.
We are saying that rather than listing categories we might use one day, because a policy that describes cookies a site does not set is inaccurate in both directions and no help to anyone reading it.
The consent banner still asks, because the answer is what governs whether anything non-essential may load in the future. If we add analytics, it will only load for visitors who have accepted, it will be listed on this page before it goes live, and it will never be loaded first and asked about afterwards.
One thing worth naming so its absence is not mistaken for an omission: we verify this site with Google Search Console. That works through a single meta tag in the page source. It sets no cookie, reads nothing from your device, and loads no script, so there is nothing to consent to.
4. Your choice, and changing it
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Both options are presented the same way and are equally easy to click. Nothing is pre-ticked, and rejecting does not limit any part of this site: you get the same pages, the same content and the same functionality either way.
You can change your answer at any time using the link in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.
You can also clear site data through your browser settings, which removes your stored answer along with everything else. The banner will then ask again on your next visit.
If you never answer, nothing non-essential loads. An unanswered banner is treated exactly the same as a rejection.
